Public hearing on “Freedom of expression online: Interplay of human rights and ICT” “

In 5th May, I had the chance to testify for Public hearing at EU Parliament (via remote participation) for Greens/EPA MEPs, to present about Tunisian case during the revolution. I tried to link that to Internet Policy (I think there were enough panels about “social media and Arab spring”) which affect more users but it is hard to engage activists about it (talking about net policy in general and not trendy topic like internet filter as well as privacy) .

The panel was divided in two sessions;

– 1st about the problems,

– 2nd about the solutions
